Printique Partners with the Special Olympics

Author: Libby - Printique by Adorama

Printique, a leader serving the needs of the photographic community for more than two decades, is honored to stand with Special Olympics and their other world-class partners in support of their shared vision to promote inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. Printique pledges to support the Special Olympics movement through several initiatives with goals of raising awareness and donations from within the photography community.
“Special Olympics is an amazing organization that provides so many great opportunities for their athletes and their families to experience those special moments in their lives, which is so inspiring. We believe those special moments in everyone’s lives are beyond important and should be cherished forever.  That is why our organization and staff are very passionate about supporting Special Olympics, their athletes and families. Through our partnership with Special Olympics, we can play a role of expanding inclusion in the world.” said Jamie Darnow, President of Printique.

Printique will develop fundraising campaigns on a dedicated landing page on their website throughout the year that showcase our commitment to help Special Olympics deliver life-changing interventions that breakdown institutional, cultural and personal stigmas against those with intellectual disabilities. Printique will donate twenty percent of the sales from these campaigns to Special Olympics.   In addition, Printique will support the “Celebrating Champions” campaign in July 2019, which serves as Special Olympics signature awareness month to champion inclusion and celebrate people of all abilities on a global stage.
“We are excited to partner with Printique to help capture and forever preserve the inspirational moments created every day throughout Special Olympics. Similar to our Movement, Printique is zooming in on things that matter, and together we will create a lasting, inclusive world for people of all abilities.” Chad Jones, Special Olympics, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.
Printique is a company with nearly 100 employees that represent many different nationalities, cultures and religions. Diversity and inclusion has been central to the success and vitality of Printique so the staff will get directly involved by donating their time to Special Olympics as volunteers. Printique will work with Special Olympics New York, to identify appropriate volunteer opportunities.
