5 Tallest Must-See Christmas Trees

Author: Libby - Printique by Adorama

Tis the season to admire spectacular Christmas trees. When I think of “must see” Christmas trees, I usually think of the trees that grace that Capitol Building and the White House, and of course, the famous Rockefeller tree. They are each breath taking and ornately adorned, but they have quite the competition with large trees and extravagant lighting ceremonies in Boston, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, just to name a few. Even those, however, don’t make the top of the list.

If you want to be witness to some of the largest, tallest, and most magnificent Christmas trees in the U.S. then you’ll need to travel to the states of Missouri, Nevada, Idaho, and California. Be sure to bring your camera with you, because you won’t see views like these anywhere else in the country. Try capturing images from all different angles, up close, and from a distance far enough away to encompass the tree in its entirety. Experiment with your aperture and shutter speeds or try some of our other photography tips to provide yourself with a variety of stunning shots to share this holiday season.
So, beginning with the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree as an honorable mention, we’ll now count down the five tallest U.S. live Christmas trees you simply must see in 2016.
