Your Best Shot 2018 Photo Contest

Contest Details – Please Read Carefully!
How to enter:
SUBMIT: Every entrant must submit only ONE image (JPEG no larger than 5MB) to LOVEPIX@ADORAMAPIX.COM
(Please feel free to include your watermark on your photo.)
SHARE: Like Printique on Facebook and post your web-ready image to our timeline and tag your image #YBS2018 OR  follow Printique on Instagram and tag your image #YBS2018.
RULES: The image must have been captured in the year 2018. Entries are due by February 17, 2019, midnight PST. (Please read through ALL of the information listed below before submitting)

 Grand Prize Winner 2018 Somraj Sah

 
 The Prizes:
1.  Grand Prize (1 winner): Estimated Value: $1900.00
Your Choice of one:  Nikon D750, Canon EOS 7D Mark II or the new Sony Alpha a7 III
2. People’s Choice: Three images with the most likes from the top 100: (3 winners) Estimated Value: $186.99
The top 3 with the most Facebook “likes”  or the People’s Choice from the top 100 will each win a 24×30 Metal Print
3. Top 25 : (25 winners)  Estimated Value: $32.99
Each of the top 25 Picks listed on Instagram will receive an 8×10 Metal Print. 
4.  Top 12 Runner Ups : (12 winners) Estimated Value: $28.00
Each of the 12 Runner Ups listed on Facebook will receive an 8×8 – 14-page hardcover photo book with the winning entries displayed. (The tpo 12 will be asked to submit a higher resolution image for print)
All winners will be notified by email.
Dates to Know: The Deadline:   A team of Printique Judges will choose the top 100 images based on technical and artistic ability and will post to Facebook. The sponsor will break them down into categories, landscape, portrait, etc and will take the even percentages out of each category. Judges reserve the right to place the entry into the appropriate category.
The  Vote: March 2019
1. FACEBOOK: The top 100 will be posted to Facebook. The three images with the most “likes” or the people’s choice will each receive a free 24×30 metal print.  This vote has no bearing on the actual Grand Prize Winner. (Top 100 images chosen by staff at Printique)
2. INSTAGRAM: An outside panel of three professional photographers will narrow down the top 100 images to 25. The 25 images will be posted on our Instagram Page. Printique community members will choose the top 10 based on the number of “hearts” or likes. All photographs will have the exact same hashtags. Two more will be added by the original team of  Printique Judges based on technical ability and the final top 12 images will be posted on the Printique Blog. The top 12 photographers will release more background information on their chosen photo. The top 12 images will be awarded the Best of 2018  8×8” – 14-page Printique Photo Book.
The Winner Announced:  April 2019
A team of Printique Judges, the outside panel of three professional photographers and the CEO/Director of Printique will choose the Grand Prize Winner out of the top 12 Best of 2018 winners.
The Winner will be announced via our Blog first, followed by Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and a mail out.

* You will be disqualified if you enter more than one image. Winners are responsible for applicable state or federal taxes as well as shipping and handling on prizes of $600 or more. If you are not a fan of these contests, please don’t participate.  We’ll continue to try to find new contests and new prizes that will make it fun and interesting to be a part of the Printique community.
